Yesterday I got to shoot some cool sports. First, I started at a Big West Semi-Finals Women’s Soccer Game, which yielded a few cool photos, but the best part was that fact that Matt Brown let me barrow a camera to use as a net cam. So I got to do some remote stuff which is always fun. I didn’t get anything spectacular but I was fun to use it. The I walked across the street to shoot some AVP players in a Beach Volleyball game. I got some good action stuff, but this detail was my favorite. Finally, we drove 45 mins to U.C. Irvine for a Rugby match. This was a new experience, let me tell you. Rugby is the weirdest game I have ever seen, but it was fun to shoot and again I got some good action, but the shot of the teams hyping themselfs up was my favorite. Oh yeah and all of my equipment bad luck has hit me in the last 48 hours: the shutter blew on my Canon 1D Mark II, a barrowed Mark IIn corrputed all of my images, and then when I was on deadline my computer kept crashing. Geez, what a crazy day.
